Marko Kovač, PhD was born and lives in Ljubljana, Slovenia and became interested in technology at a young age. This curiosity propelled him through school and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering all the way to his doctorate in nuclear engineering. He also acquired a broad range of experience in the automotive industry. In recent years, he has been working on the development of roof photovoltaic power plants and e-mobility at the Centre for Energy Efficiency at the Jožef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana. He favours a hands-on approach to science and is the author of several scientific, professional, and popular articles.
